John 16:13 Howbeit when he the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. ~ I’m so thankful today for the Holy Spirit of God that leads us and guides us into all truth~ even when it hurts. I’m thankful that He is able to see beyond the outward appearance of man and has the ability to deal with the issues of the heart.

Last night on my way to church, I pulled into a restaurant to grab something to eat. The Lord told me not to go there two times on my way to the restaurant and even told me why. So what did I do, I blew it off and did exactly what he told me not to do. It wasn’t 2 minutes later, the thing God told me that would happen happened. I thought well if I would have listened to The Lord, that would have saved me a few dollars. Well this morning the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said last night wasn’t about saving me a few dollars but it was about me submitting myself to his governing word for my life in that moment. It was about me being willing to submit myself to the leading of his spirit no matter how insignificant it seems. But I didn’t. I chose to act in a way that was based on my own wisdom, my own agenda, and my own reasoning and refusing to give place to his instruction for my life.

Jesus never said anything or did anything unless the Father told him to do it. Jesus was so effective in the supernatural of God because of his obedience to his Father. He refused to respond or react in the flesh or in his own wisdom but relied on his Father and allowed the Holy Spirit to lead him. If we ever want to experience the power and the glory of God in the earth, we need to practice obedience, even in the insignificant things. We have to be willing to lay aside our pride and submit ourselves to The Lord. We do not want to be a hard hearted, stiff necked people. If we are, we will never come into prophetic purpose and destiny. Thankful today for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. Thankful today for the mercy seat of God where I receive forgiveness of sins and the power and ability to be changed. #savedbygrace
