Psalm 18:2-3 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. ~ I woke up this morning after a day of feeling oppressed of the enemy and feeling tired. I began to think about the name of Jesus and what all is in that name. He is my savior, my redeemer, my deliverer, my strength. He is my refuge, my high tower, my peace, my joy, and my help. There is no other name like that name. So it was only fitting today that when the Holy Ghost directed me where to read, he led me to Psalm 18. It was just a confirmation, a fortification of who He is!

I am so thankful today for the name of Jesus and having the right to use that name and to call upon that name. He is our refuge and our help in the time of trouble. He is the one who will deliver us from an enemy that is too great for us. He girds us up and strengthens us. He will cause us to run through troops and leap over walls. It doesn’t matter how we feel today, what we face, whether we are strong or weak. God is for us! His eyes are upon us and his ears are open to our cry. If God be for us, who can be against us. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Be strong in the Lord today and in the power of his might!
