John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. ~ Being a disciple of Christ isn’t hard, it’s a choice we make every day. It’s when we choose to stay connected to him through his word and allow his word to govern our lives. As we partake of his word, we are changed from glory to glory. His word are seeds that are sown into the heart of man bringing forth life in due season. This doesn’t mean that we won’t experience hardships, neither does it mean that we won’t fail sometimes. But because we are called by his name, because we trust and believe on him, we have an advocate with the Father who is ever making intercession for us. One who is cheering us on and excited about the race we are running. One who has promised grace and strength to run and victory in the end.
Let’s purpose in our hearts to be disciples of Christ. Let’s choose to trust that his word is true and let’s let it govern our lives and our decisions.
