Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~ It’s not enough just for us to believe something. Our words have to line up with our belief to bring forth the desired end result. If salvation can be made through confession, so can bondage and limitation. Remember in the book of Mark, Jesus tells the Parable of the sower. The sower sows the word. This is done through speaking. Our words are seeds that either produce life or they bring forth death. What we speak today has a great impact on the harvest we reap tomorrow. Sowing seeds through what we speak is a principle that the kingdom of God operates on. It’s a law that governs, just like gravity or other natural laws. If we want a different harvest in our lives, we need to start watching the words that come forth out of our mouths. Many of us limit ourselves and limit what God can do in our lives because of the words we speak. Let’s ask Holy Spirit to put a guard over our mouths today so that we only speak the things that he would have us speak.
