Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him. ~ ‘Is’ is present tense. That means now! God IS my strength and he IS my salvation. He causes me to be strong and prevail over my enemy, over my flesh, and any other circumstance that would rise against me seeking to keep me out of the best that God has for my life. He is my salvation. Salvation includes deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity, health, and freedom. He is my defender, my rescue, and the one who avenges. He always causes me to triumph in Christ. He is for me and not against me. When I think on all of these things, it causes a spirit of thanksgiving to come upon me and makes me sing forth his praises. And as I do, it creates a habitation place for his presence to abide. In his presence is the fullness of joy, life, health, and strength.
Do you want more of his presence in your life? Do you want to experience him in greater depths than you ever have before? Begin to meditate on who he is and all that he has done for you in sending Jesus to die for your sins. He has set you free from the power of sin and death. He has paid the penalty of your sin and paid the ransom for your soul so that you would not have to spend eternity separated from his presence. When we get an understanding of that, it will make you want to shout. It will make you want to sing and give him praise and when you do, his presence will come. He abides in the praises of his people. The Lord is your strength and salvation today. Run in his power and strength today!
