Psalm 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward The Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. ~ David’s focus, attention, and eyes were fixed upon The Lord. He refused to look at his enemy, he refused to focus on his circumstance and the distress that he was feeling in his body and mind. David knew that God was faithful to deliver him in the past and he knew that God would do it again! Matthew 6:22 says that the light of the body is the eye: therefore, if thine eye be single, the whole body shall be full of light. We have to make a purposeful decision to keep our focus on what the word of God says. When God says that we are more than conquerors, that’s who we are. When he says that we are the healed of The Lord, that’s who we are. We have to refuse to believe evidence and the lies of the enemy that are contrary to what the word of God says.

Let’s purpose to rise up today, to set our focus on The Lord, and to run towards him. When we do, he will cause our enemies to be overthrown and defeated. He will deliver us and bring us into victory!
