Exodus 14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Whereforth hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? ~ Israel was in the wilderness place and saw their enemy pursuing them. And because they forgot what God said (vs 2-4), they unrighteously judged God. They accused Him of bringing them out there to die. They didn’t understand that God brought them to this place so that He could destroy their enemy and deliver Israel from an evil task master that had kept them bound and enslaved.
If God would not have destroyed Pharaoh, Israel would have always had to contend with them and live in fear of them. Don’t despise your wilderness place. Don’t despise the battle you are in. Understand that it is to bring destruction to your enemy and salvation to you. God is a good God and wants His people to be people of faith, people free of fear.
Don’t unrighteously judge God because of what you see. Understand that God has a plan and it is for your good, not your destruction.
