1 Peter1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. ~ These scriptures are not just talking about life in heaven that is to come, but life that is made available to us through Christ when we accept him as our savior.

Before being born again of his spirit, we exist. We struggle day by day just to make it… To what, we aren’t sure. But when we born again, his spirit is seeded in us bringing us into a whole new realm of life and purpose. Lively hope is being very active, energetic, full of energy and excitement, being in great expectation that something good is going to happen. We have hope that our lives don’t end up empty and without purpose. As we are in relationship with Him, we discover his purpose for our lives and are in great anticipation and excitement that he is bringing us into our destiny.

God has a great plan for each of our lives. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing your purpose and knowing that each day you are getting closer and closer to fulfilling your purpose. So many people walk through this life wondering why they were created, why they are here, and wonder what the point of life is. Only a relationship with God can answer those questions and satisfy the longing that is in each of us.
