Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ~ As I was praying today, God started speaking to me about not allowing the things that we see to be an indication of things that we don’t see. Thankfulness is birthed out of a confidence that God not only hears us when we pray according to his will, but that he answers us and that we have the petitions that we’ve brought before him. As we keep our focus on God, his nature, and the truthfulness of his word, and we refuse to look at what is seen, our faith will give substance to the things that we’ve brought before The Lord.
Don’t cast away your confidence which has great recompense of reward. Refuse to allow what you see with your natural eyes cause you to be discouraged or to abort your faith. Faith is believing without seeing. Faith is having confidence in a faithful God who can’t lie. Refuse to focus on temporal things but set your focus on eternal, true things – the word of God. Our God will not fail us! Our faith is behind the scenes working on our behalf to bring things unto God’s perfect end. If faith can frame the world and give substance to things not seen, surely it can bring substance to the things you are believing for. Don’t limit God or the power of your faith.
