Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. ~ We seek The Lord and pursue him by faith. We press through transition, we resist the things that rise up to hinder us, and we persevere. We press through hardships and keep our eyes on him. We hold fast to our confidence knowing that the reward of faith and the pressing through transition will be worth it. We set our faces as flint and refuse to be diverted or moved. We refuse to accept the condemnation of the enemy or even our own flesh. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.
I was thinking about Noah who built the ark through a hundred-year process. I’m sure he had good days and challenging days. I’m sure he had days where he felt exhausted, defeated, and discouraged. But God counted him faithful because he diligently persevered. In our walks of faith, we have times where we run in the strength, the zeal, and the life of God and other days where it seems it’s a challenge to make it through the day. But if we will refuse to stop, if we refuse to give into temptation to lay our faith down, and we keep putting one foot in front of the other, if we just stand when we don’t know what else to do, God will count us as faithful and bring us into victory! He will bring us into our reward and times of refreshing. The end will be worth the process.
Transition isn’t always easy but if we will press through and endure, it will bring forth new life. He is faithful who promised. Keep your eyes on the prize!
