Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ~ We understand that this scripture isn’t just for the natural needs of man or for natural manna. We have physical needs, emotional needs, financial needs, etc. If you need peace, He is your peace. If you need strength, He will strengthen you. If you need the courage to stand in situations that seem far greater than you, he will be your courage. If you need self control, He can help you.
Paul says in verse 11 that he has learned in whatsoever state he finds himself, there-with to be content. He has learned the secret of walking in a consistent way that pleases the Lord. He has learned through experiences how to keep his flesh under subjection and trust that God’s will and plan for his life will come to pass. He has learned to access the grace of God to meet the needs that he faced in life from day to day. Paul never tried to force things to happen, never pushed his own agenda, never tried to force people to change. No he kept his own flesh under control, strived to walk like Christ, and kept his eyes on God. ~~That is how you are content whether you have abundance or find yourself in lack. Either way, God is still God and his plans and purposes for your life will be established.
