Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of The Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but The Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. ~ Just as the Bible is faithful and true concerning the darkness being seen in the Earth and gross darkness the people, so is it faithful and true concerning the Glory of the Lord. We are in the darkest times that this Nation has ever seen concerning the sin that is abounding, the addictions men are in bondage to, the bloodshed of innocent lives through hatred, the depth of corruption and evil in our government, the falling away of the church from sound doctrine, and hatred towards righteousness and the Christian. But as followers of Christ, we have hope! The glory of The Lord will be seen throughout the Nations of the earth.
God is going to cause his spirit to be poured out upon all flesh. He is raising up a people who will be holy before him, a people set ablaze with passion for the things of his kingdom, a people who will stand for holiness and righteousness. He is looking for a people who will hold fast to sound doctrine and rise up to live lives that are pleasing to Him. He is looking for a people who will believe his word and what he has said. We need to turn our focus from the things going on around us and turn our eyes to the one who holds us. We need to see things through his eyes and have ears to hear what he has to say. God is coming back for a glorious church, a church set on fire for him. The earth will be without excuse. These are the last days, let’s rise up so that God can cause his glorious light to shine in us to be the hope for the nations and to bring the Gentiles to a place of salvation.
