Psalm 18:8-9 I have set The Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. ~ This is a great key in walking in victory. When we keep our focus on The Lord, he is magnified in our eyes. He is bigger than anything else we may face. He is our hope and our sure foundation. When we fix our eyes on Him, we are not looking at the impossibility of our situation but looking to the one with whom all things are possible. When we set our eyes on him, we can’t help but see his nature and who he is. The one who never changes, the one who never fails, the one who meets every need. The one who heals, restores, and makes new. The joy of our salvation, the one who satisfies, the lover of our soul. He is our strength and help in our time of need. The God of our redemption, the God of our salvation; our mighty warrior and only king forever!
Fenis Jennings Dake said ‘We do not strive for things we see, for they are not worthy of the pursuit of an immortal soul. The things not seen are the Eternal and important things in life.’
Today, let’s get our focus and our sight on the things that really matter and have true value. Let’s focus on Him and His kingdom knowing that all of these things will work for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
