Matthew 5:18 Till Heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. ~ God is faithful and just to uphold his word, to do the things that he said that he would do. He has given us promises and as we pursue Him in faith and with a pure heart, He will bring us into the fullness of what He has purposed for our lives. But as Christians we must understand that this is not a license to sin nor does it give us a free ticket to live any way we want and expect for the promises of God to come to pass in our lives. Unconditional love isn’t a love without responsibility. No, that’s how we want to define it but that’s not what it is. Unconditional love is loving someone no matter where they are, no matter how much they struggle, and no matter what they are doing HOWEVER, it also empowers them to change and holds them accountable. I can’t live a life filled with sin and hypocrisy and expect God to bless it. Nor can I take the fact that God is faithful and gracious and think that he will bless me no matter what I do. That is devilish. If we continue to live in sin and harden our hearts to Him, he will give us over to a reprobate mind. But if in our hearts we are sincere towards him and strive in faith to live a life pleasing to Him, He will bring us into the promise land and we will be satisfied all that days of our lives. He is faithful who promised!!
