John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also. And whether I go ye know, and the way ye know. ~There is so much in my heart concerning this passage of scripture. God has spoken to me many times throughout the years from this passage concerning the things that he’s prepared for my life. This passage of scripture isn’t just talking about Jesus preparing a place for us in heaven. He’s talking about preparing opportunities and callings in the body of Christ. And he reveals to us in these scriptures that not only is he preparing places and opportunities for us but that he’s the provision and the way to those opportunities.
Many times God will call us to do something and initially it’s a fearful thing because it’s way too big for us and we have no idea how to do it. But Jesus reveals to us that if he calls us to do something, if he prepares a place for us, not to fear because he not only prepares the place but he is the way into that place. It’s out of intimacy and relationship with him that he will lead us and direct us. Many times God has already brought people into our lives and positioned us in favor with the very people he will use to accomplish his will. And then at the appointed time, he will open our eyes to see the provision already made. God never calls us to do something without first providing the means to do it.
So if you are facing something that God has called you to do and it’s too big for you, you are in the perfect place! Don’t fear. God is not going to fail you. He has given you his word, grace, and faith….. That’s the perfect recipe for God encounters and the supernatural!
